Below is a record of every Mira release since Mira 2.0, from newest to oldest. Check this page to see whether you are on the latest version, or to find out what changed in a release.
Mira keeps itself up to date. It checks for a new version once a day and when your computer starts, and installs it while Revit is closed.
Check your Mira version
In the Windows notification area, next to the clock, right-click the Pirros Updates icon. If you don't see it, click the ^ arrow to show hidden icons.
The first line of the menu shows your version, for example Installed: 2.0.13.
To update right away, close Revit, right-click Pirros Updates and click Check for updates. If Auto-update enabled is unchecked in that menu, Mira only updates when you do this. You can also download and run the latest installer from mira.pirros.com at any time.
Some updates don't need an install. Skills in the Mira Skills Library, and changes to the chat panel itself, reach you the next time you start Revit. They are listed below, under Updates without an install.
Using Mira in the Pirros in Revit pane? That version of Mira ships with the Pirros plugin, and its changes are listed in Plug-In Release Notes.
Mira releases
Version | Release Date | Changes |
2.0.13 | September 18, 2026 | When your sign-in expires, Mira shows a Sign in button instead of reporting that a Pirros service is unreachable. The chat panel stays connected to Revit after you sign in. |
2.0.8 | September 14, 2026 | Mira now runs on Revit 2026.5. Mira can build reusable tools again. |
2.0.6 | September 9, 2026 | Attaching and pasting files works on Revit 2025. Mira can read PDFs on Revit 2025. Right-click copy and paste in the chat panel is reliable when more than one Revit document is open. After a new install, sign-in starts with the email you used to download Mira. |
2.0.3 | September 8, 2026 | A request that is waiting on a busy Revit now stops after 90 seconds and tells you why, instead of never finishing. All of Mira's skills load when you run more than one Revit session at once. Mira rebuilds tools made with Mira 1.x that no longer load. |
2.0.1 | September 5, 2026 | Mira 2.0 Keep typing while Mira works: your message joins the task in progress, or waits in a visible queue where you can remove it. Long conversations keep going: Mira summarizes earlier messages and keeps element IDs, names and the changes it made exact. Mira remembers your preferences and corrections from one conversation to the next. Mira reads PDFs, and looks at drawing sheets as images instead of guessing from their text. Mira can look at the model in 3D, not only at the view you have open. Mira can zoom into part of a view, ask what is in an area, and check what is hidden. Mira can open and describe image files on your computer. Attach files or whole folders of any size by dragging, pasting, the attach button or a typed path, with nothing uploaded. Hand long jobs, such as reading through a folder of documents, to background agents and keep chatting while they work. Seven new skills: renumber details on a sheet, bulk text-note edits, set parameters in bulk, center room tags, flip grid heads, build a model from an image, and massing from an image. Type / at the start of a message to pick a skill by name. Mira understands groups and the content nested inside families. |
Releases before Mira 2.0 are not listed here. If you are still on a 1.x version, install the latest version from mira.pirros.com.
Updates without an install
These reach every Mira 2.0 user automatically, the next time Revit starts.
October 9, 2026. The Mira Skills Library: Pirros now publishes six skills to every Mira install and keeps them up to date: renumber details on a sheet, annotation standards audit, bulk text-note edits, set parameters in bulk, center room tags, and flip grid heads. The annotation standards audit is new; the other five replace the versions installed with Mira 2.0. See Mira Skills Library.
September 11, 2026. Conversations no longer stop at 200 messages. A long conversation keeps going, and Mira summarizes earlier messages when it needs room.
