Pirros provides a simple and efficient method for grouping a collection of details into a single, unified set. You can conveniently share these stashes with your team or download them all at once directly into your Revit project. After sharing, Pirros will instantly alert your colleagues via the platform, promoting seamless communication throughout the team.
Create a Stash
You can create a stash and add details to it from the Details or Stashes screens. This article covers both workflows.
To create a stash, follow these steps below:
On the top navigation bar, click Stashes:
Click New Stash at the top right corner of the screen or click on the + icon in the middle of the screen:
Give your stash a new name by typing in the Stash Name field:
Click Save Changes to create the stash:
Once created, the stash will appear under the User Stashes tab:
Add Details to a Stash
Once you create a stash, you will be able to add relevant details into your stash and share it with your team members. To do this, you need to first filter down which details you would like to add to your stash. Take the following steps below to add details into your stash:
Click on the Details tab on the top navigation bar:
Once you are on the Details page, you can use the filters on the left part of the screen to pin down the exact ones you want to include in your stash.
Hover over the details you want to add to the stash and checkmark them by clicking on the boxes at the top right corner of each detail:
Click on the Stash button that appears at the top as soon as you checkmark the details:
If you have multiple stashes, you can select which stash you would like to add details to by clicking on the dropdown menu at the top right:
Alternatively, you can create a stash and add details to it directly from the Details screen. Check-mark the relevant details, click on the Stash dropdown menu at the top right corner of the screen, and click Create a Stash:
Please Note: On the Stashes tab, you'll find an "Active Stash" column with a toggle switch. Turning it on makes that stash active. When a stash is active, any details you add will go only to that stash. You can only have one active stash at a time.
Share a Stash with Team Members
Once you create a stash and add relevant details to it, you can share it with your team members by following these steps below:
Navigate to the Stashes tab by clicking Stashes at the top navigation bar.
Choose which stash you would like to share with your team and click on it.
Once you are viewing your stash, click on the arrow icon at the top right corner of the screen:
Select the names of colleagues you would like to share the stash with and click on the Share button:
Export a Stash into a PDF
Pirros allows employees to export stashes into a PDF for markups or other changes. Once you export a stash, Pirros will create a PDF document and include all the detail files inside the stash. To do this, please take the following steps:
Navigate to the stash that you want to export by clicking on the Stashes button at the top navigation bar.
Once you are viewing the stash that you would like to export, click on the Export to PDF button at the top right corner of the screen.
You can also download your detail files into a ZIP folder from the stash directly, if you would like to export the files into a .RVT format. To do this, first navigate to the stash where you would like to export the detail files.
Click the three horizontal dots at the top right corner of the Stashes screen:
Click Export Detail Files:
Download Stash Contents into Revit
Once you are ready to download the contents of the stash into Revit, you can navigate to the stash by clicking on the Stashes tab on the top navigation bar. Once you are viewing the stash, click Stage for Download and the contents of the stash will be downloaded into your active Revit model:
Please note: When you click Stage for Download on a stash, ALL details within that stash will be added to your download queue. This occurs even if you’ve selected only a few specific details—every item in the stash will still be staged for download.
Please note: If you have a detail within your stash that has been marked as "Reference Only", you will need to ask for permission to download it. Details marked as "Reference Only" can be downloaded only after requesting permission from an admin:
The system will require you to add a note in the box and click Save:
Duplicate, Archive or Delete a Stash
Employees can not only create stashes but also duplicate, archive, or delete them as required. This section will guide you through the proper workflow for duplicating, archiving, and deleting stashes.
Duplicate a Stash
You can duplicate an existing stash to create a new one with identical details, allowing for minor adjustments or tweaks, as needed. Please follow these steps:
Navigate to the stash you would like to duplicate by clicking on the Stashes button at the top navigation bar.
Click on the three horizontal dots at the top right corner of the screen and click Duplicate:
The "-copy" suffix will be automatically added to your stash name upon duplication. You can change the name before clicking Save Changes.
Archive and Unarchive a Stash
Admins can archive and unarchive stashes as needed if they would like to temporarily hide a stash from the Stashes list. Unarchiving will allow admins to restore previously archived stashes. To archive a stash, please follow these steps:
Navigate to the stash you would like to archive by clicking on the Stashes button at the top navigation bar.
Click on the three horizontal dots on the top right corner of the screen and click Archive:
Once archived, the stash will disappear from the regular active stash list and will appear in the Archived User Stashes section at the bottom of the Stashes tab:
You can unarchive a stash by navigating to the Stashes tab from the top navigation bar and scrolling down to the Archived User Stashes section.
Click on the archived stash and click Copy and Restore:
Delete a Stash
Deleting a stash is a permanent action that cannot be undone. If you think you might need to access a stash later, consider archiving it instead of deleting it. To permanently remove a stash, follow these steps:
Navigate to the stash you would like to archive by clicking on the Stashes button at the top navigation bar.
Click on the three horizontal dots on the top right corner of the screen and click Delete Stash:
The system will ask you to confirm. Click Delete:
