Add Project Settings in Revit
Before you can download a detail into Revit, you need to link your active project with Pirros. To connect a project from Revit to Pirros, you may take the following steps:
Navigate to Revit and click on the Pirros tap at the top navigation panel. Afterwards, click Settings β Project Settings:
Enter the Project Name and Project Number that you will be downloading details into and click Save:
Download Details into Revit
Follow these steps below to download a detail from Pirros directly into your Revit Model after you have filled out your project settings:
Navigate to the Details page from the top navigation bar to select which details must be downloaded:
Hover over each detail that you would like to stage for download and checkmark them:
Click on the Stage for Download button once the orange banner appears at the top:
Click Done:
Now navigate to Revit and click on the Pirros tab at the top navigation bar:
Click Download at the top left corner of the screen:
A dialogue box will appear listing the names of details you selected to download on your Pirros account. Check the detail names and click OK:
Once you click OK, the details will be automatically upgraded to your current Revit version. The downloaded details will be listed under the PIRROS IMPORTS section of your project browser in Revit:
Download Details to a PDF
Pirros allows you to download details as PDFs for any updates or markups. To export a detail, first navigate to the detail you would like to export from the Details page.
Once you find the detail you would like to export as PDF, click on it and click Download PDF:
Alternatively, you can click on the detail to open the full detail view before you click Download PDF:
Once the PDF document opens, you can see relevant detail information on the bottom right corner of the detail:
You can change what appears in the footer of the PDF print in Settings β Display β PDF Footer Layout:
