The Pirros-Revit plugin makes it easy for drafting technicians, architects, designers, and managers to find and manipulate details with the click of a button. With the help of the plugin, you can seamlessly download a detail from Pirros into Revit and upload it back into your account.
You will need administrator-level access to your computer to install the plugin. Consult with your IT Department to ensure you have the necessary clearance to install the plugin.
Find the Plugin Install Link
To install the plugin, you can navigate to: https://app.pirros.com/plugin
The plugin link will always be available on your account. To find the link, follow these steps:
Click on the dropdown arrow at the top right corner next to your initials:
Click Revit Plugin:
Click Download:
Navigate to your Downloads folder and run the installer. Close out of all instances of Revit and follow the instructions to install the plugin.
Afer Installation is Complete
Once the plugin finishes installing, run your Revit application. If successfully installed, a new Pirros tab will become available at the top navigation bar in Revit:
Update the Plugin
Our Revit plugin is frequently updating and changing to capture all the needs of our customers. Your plugin will automatically update if you are an admin on your work computer. However, you can also manually check if your plugin running on the last version by taking the steps below:
Navigate to Revit and click on the Pirros tab:
Click Settings → About:
Make sure to enable Auto Update by check-marking the box:
