Request Details from Administrators

Request a specific detail that you can't find in the library.

To request a specific detail that does not exist in your firm's Pirros library, submit a detail request. Your admin team reviews it and uploads the detail if available.


How to Submit a Detail Request

  1. Click the Details tab in the top navigation bar.

  2. Click Request Details in the top-right corner.

  1. In the Request Information field, describe the detail you need. Include:

    • What the detail shows (e.g., "storefront sill condition at grade")

    • Which project it may come from, if you know

    • Why you need it (e.g., "Starting a similar condition on the Henderson project and need a reference")

  2. Attach any relevant files -- for example, a reference sketch, a photo of the condition, or a PDF page showing a similar detail.

  1. Click Submit.


What Happens After You Submit

  • Your admin receives a notification with your request and any attached files.

  • The admin reviews the request and either:

    • Uploads the detail and notifies you, or

    • Responds with guidance (e.g., pointing you to an existing detail you may have missed)

  • Once uploaded, find the detail by searching the Details page.


FAQ

Q: How specific should my request be?

A: The more specific, the better. Include the condition name, the project it may come from, and why you need it. Vague requests ("I need a wall detail") take longer for admins to process.

Q: Can I attach a sketch or photo to my request?

A: Yes. Use the file attachment area on the request form to upload any supporting files.

Q: How long does it take to get a response?

A: It depends on your admin's availability. The request sends an immediate notification. If it is urgent, reach out to your admin directly as well.

Q: What if the detail I need does not exist anywhere?

A: Your admin may need to create it from scratch or ask you to draft it. Mention in your request note if you believe the detail has never been drawn.

Q: Is there a limit to how many detail requests I can submit?

A: There is no limit. Submit as many requests as you need. Be descriptive in each one to help your admin team process them efficiently.
