Request Projects to be Uploaded to Pirros

Ask your admin team to upload a project so its details become searchable.

To get a completed project's details into Pirros so they become searchable and reusable, submit a project upload request. This sends your request to your admin team along with the project files they need to process the upload.

How to Submit a Project Upload Request

  1. Click the Projects tab in the top navigation bar.

  2. Click Request Project in the top-right corner.

  1. Fill in the Request Note with:

    • The project name and number

    • Why the project should be uploaded (e.g., "Contains updated envelope details we need to reference for the Morrison project")

    • Any relevant parameters or context

What Happens After You Submit

  • Your admin team receives a notification with your request, the PDF drawing set, and the Revit model (if attached).

  • The admin reviews the request and decides whether to approve and process the upload.

  • Once approved and uploaded, you receive a notification.

  • The project and all its details appear in your library and are searchable from the Details and Projects pages.

FAQ

Q: Can I submit a request without the Revit model?

A: Yes. If you do not have access to the model, submit the request without it. Include as much context as possible in the request note so your admin can locate the file.

Q: How long does it take for the project to appear?

A: It depends on your admin's availability and the size of the project. Uploading and processing can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. If it is urgent, reach out to your admin directly in addition to submitting the request.

Q: Can I request a project that is still in progress?

A: You can submit a request for any project. However, admins typically upload completed or closed-out projects to ensure the details are final. Mention the project status in your request note.

Q: Who can see my request?

A: Only administrators can see and act on project upload requests. Other team members cannot view your request.

Q: What file formats are accepted for the drawing set?

A: PDF is the standard format for drawing sets. Attach the final PDF set so your admin can verify which details are included.
