Stage 1: Familiarize Yourself with Pirros
Due Date: Kickoff Call
1 | Sign into Pirros | You should receive an account invite email from [email protected] email address. Navigate to app.pirros.com and sign into your account. |
2 | Invite other stakeholders | Make sure all stakeholders who are going to be involved in Pirros implementation are invited to your account as admins. To invite new users, click on the downwards arrow next to your initials on the top right and click Settings. |
3 | Download the plugin | See the setup guide. |
4 | If you are on Autodesk ACC, add the Pirros app ot your ACC account to link them. | See the integration guide. |
Stage 2: Database Population
Due Date: 2 Weeks Post-Kickoff
1 | Upload all past project models to Pirros | |
2 | Customize project parameters and fill in each parameter for each project upload | You should follow the same steps as above. When uploading, select Typical Details in the dropdown menu on the source models page in Pirros. |
3 | Upload any standard container Revit models that you want to start your standard library with. | Navigate to Settings β Project Filters. |
Stage 3: Creating Standard Library of Details
Due Date: 8 weeks from Kickoff Call
1 | Create a "table of contents" of the most common sets of details used across all projects |
2 | Create Firm Stashes for each set of typical details to review |
3 | Use Pirros to search through past project details and add the best details to these stashes. |
4 | Export these stashes to PDFs to markup and review internally for standardization. |
5 | Download these stashes of details into an empty Revit File. |
6 | Clean up details and make them standard. |
7 | Push to upload the standard details to Pirros under Typical Details. |
8 | Add tags to the typical library details to organize your database |
Stage 4: Workflow Development
Due Date: 9 weeks from Kickoff Call
1 | Create Firm Stashes of standard sets of details for specific condition types |
2 | Develop the key workflows in Pirros for specific user groups at your firm |
3 | Know how you want your users to use flags, stashes, markups, download analytics, etc. |
4 | Write out ideal individual user workflows within Pirros |
Stage 5: Training/Rollout to Users
Due Date: 10 weeks from Kickoff Call
1 | Send out a mass email to all your users introducing Pirros

2 | Schedule Training Call with Pirros CSM and all your users
|
3 | Create a 3-5 minute introduction to tell your users what you are hoping to gain from Pirros
