Upload Project Details to Pirros

Updated over a week ago

Before you can get the most out of Pirros, you’ll need to upload your previous projects. The more projects you upload, the bigger your details library will be, giving your team the opportunity to use them as reference. This step is essential to make it easy to search, reference, and reuse details across current or upcoming projects.

Only admins can upload projects to Pirros. Regular users can request projects to be uploaded by admins following these steps.

Upload Models Using the Drag-and-Drop Feature

  1. On the Details page on Pirros, Click the + Add Details button on the top right.

  2. Drag and drop the file you would like to upload into the left part of the screen:

  3. You will need to add a project name and number for every project you are uploading (if you are uploading your standard details library, select the pre-made Typical Details option):

  4. If you need to create a new project, click Create New Project and fill out the project name and number associated with the model:

  5. Click Upload Settings at the bottom right corner to choose which views to upload:

  6. If you would not like to upload specific view types, toggle them off:

  7. Once you are done deciding which view types to bring over, close the window and click Upload.

  8. Wait on this screen until the model reaches 100% in the upload progress bar.
