How to Flag a Detail for Review

The following article describes how users can flag details for review and how admins can check those flags and update them accordingly.

Flagging Details:

Users can flag details for review by firm administrators, allowing them to highlight information that may require attention. This streamlines the vetting process and helps build a more comprehensive and standardized detail library.

How to Flag a Detail:

If you come across a detail with an issue or mistake, you can flag it for your administrative team to review. This ensures they are notified of your comment and can update the detail promptly, preventing any errors from being used in active projects.

To flag a single detail, please follow the steps below:

  1. Hover over the detail you would like to flag and click on it:

  2. Click on the Flag icon at the top right corner of the screen:

  3. Add your comment in the box at the bottom right corner of the screen:

  4. You can use the @ symbol to tag one or more users of your firm to bring their attention to your comment:

  5. Use the Pencil tool at the bottom of the comment box to mark up the detail and indicate what needs to change specifically:

  6. Use the attachment icon at the bottom of the comment box to attach relevant files to your comment:

  7. Send the flag to your admins by clicking the small orange airplane icon:

Review Flagged Details for Admins:

Users contribute to quality control in Pirros by flagging details that need review. This fosters a collaborative and efficient vetting process.

Administrators can access a centralized log of all flagged details, including who flagged them and any accompanying comments. This ensures transparency, accountability, and helps maintain high standards across the detail library.

View All Flagged Details for Admins

As an administrator, you can easily see all the details flagged for review by your team. We'll send you notifications in the system and via email. To see what is flagged, follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Click Management at the top navigation bar and click Flagged Details:

  2. Review the details that have been flagged and use the comment box on each flagged detail to add comments as needed:

Once you review the flagged detail and the added comments, you can download the detail into Revit and update it. Once it's uploaded, click Resolve Flags:

Clicking Resolve Flags will remove the flagged detail from the Management tab. However, we are still going to keep the comments in the Flags section of the detail.

To view resolved comments, take the following steps:

  • Navigate to the detail and click Flags on the left part:

  • Click Resolved Flags:
