Using Analytics to Manage Your Library

Use download data and suggestions to identify which project details should become firm standards.

Pirros tracks how your team uses the library — which details get downloaded, by whom, and how often. Use this data to make informed decisions about what to promote to your Typical library and where to focus your standards efforts.

Prerequisite: You need the Admin role with View Analytics permission. Analytics are accessed from Management → Analytics.

Download Analytics

The Analytics tab shows:

  • Downloads by user — which team members are most active

  • Downloads by detail — which details are most popular

  • Downloads by project — which past projects provide the most referenced content

  • Active user percentage — how much of your team is using the platform

Typical Detail Suggestions

Navigate to Management → Suggestions to see Pirros's AI-powered recommendations for which project details should become firm standards.

Suggestions are based on:

  • How frequently a project detail gets downloaded across different projects

  • How many different team members have used it

  • Whether a similar typical detail already exists

Review suggestions periodically and promote the best candidates to your Typical library by downloading them into your container model, refining them, and syncing back.

How to Use Analytics Effectively

  • Monthly review: Check top downloaded details each month. If a project detail consistently ranks high, it's a strong candidate for standardization

  • Adoption tracking: Monitor the active user percentage. If it drops, consider a refresh training or check if recently uploaded content is meeting team needs

  • Library gaps: Look at search queries that return zero results — these indicate details your team needs but that haven't been uploaded yet

Q: Can members see analytics?

A: By default, analytics are visible only to admins and users with the View Analytics permission.

Q: How far back does analytics data go?

A: Analytics track all activity from the time your workspace was created. There is no data expiration.

Q: Can I export analytics data?

A: Contact your Pirros Customer Success Manager for analytics export options.
