Pirros accepts multiple file types for details, families, and supplementary content. Here's what you can upload and any size constraints to be aware of.

Size Considerations

  • There is no hard file count limit β€” you can upload as many projects as your plan supports

  • Very large Revit models (500+ views) take longer to process but are supported

  • If an upload stalls or the upload button appears disabled, check your internet connection and try a smaller batch

Q: Can I upload MicroStation files?

A: MicroStation (.dgn) files are not natively supported. Convert to DWG format before uploading.

Q: Can I upload SketchUp or Rhino files?

A: These formats are not supported. Pirros is designed for Revit and AutoCAD workflows.

Q: Is there a limit on the number of projects I can upload?

A: This depends on your Pirros plan. Contact your Customer Success Manager for details on your plan's capacity.
