Pirros accepts multiple file types for details, families, and supplementary content. Here's what you can upload and any size constraints to be aware of.
Supported File Formats
Format | Extension | Use Case |
Revit Model | .rvt | Details and families extracted from project models or container models |
Revit Family + .txt type catalog | .rfa .txt | Individual loadable families uploaded to the Families module as well as individual families with type catalogs. |
Revit Template | .rte | Template files for project setup |
AutoCAD Drawing | .dwg | CAD-based details (displayed in layer colors) |
PDF Document | Drawing sets, specifications, and supplementary documents |
Size Considerations
There is no hard file count limit β you can upload as many projects as your plan supports
Very large Revit models (500+ views) take longer to process but are supported
If an upload stalls or the upload button appears disabled, check your internet connection and try a smaller batch
